Beauty is a conceptual zine exploring how beauty can be interpreted beyond traditional standards. The publication examines themes of identity, perception, and self-expression through experimental layouts, typography, and imagery. The goal was to challenge conventional ideas of beauty and present a more personal and interpretive visual narrative.
Process
The process began with a conceptual exploration of what beauty means on both a societal and personal level. Visual experimentation included combining classical imagery with modern graphic elements to create contrast between traditional ideals and contemporary perspectives. Layout development focused on creating rhythm through typography, hierarchy, and pacing across spreads to guide the reader through the narrative experience.
